It's a natural human instinct that when someone hurts you, then you want to hurt them back. But does revenge ever reverse the original pain?
Matthew 5:43-44 records Jesus saying, “You have heard it said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
What good does it do to pray for our enemies? How can we begin to bless them?
