Prophets spoke for generations about the coming of the Messiah who would bring knowledge, freedom, salvation, comfort, unity, and hope to all mankind. But, no one expected him to come into the world as a poor, defenseless, and human baby. Jesus was not just the prophesied Messiah. He is Immanuel, God with us.
